Basilick, who identified herself as the department director and said she joined the county in November 2024, told the board the archives is located at 340 North Second Street and that the department has processed roughly 38,000 boxes of departmental records since a 2020–2021 consolidation. "We house records for 35 of our 52 county departments," Basilick said, and described an active program of scanning records into a digital repository and secure shredding of paper once quality control checks are complete.
