The Wells Select Board on Aug. 5 granted routine liquor-license renewals and new applications for restaurants in town and approved a special entertainment permit for live entertainment.
The board approved a renewal for Las Olas Taqueria (1517 Post Road) for a full-time beer, wine and spirits license after no public comment. The motion to close the public hearing and grant the license passed unanimously.
The board also approved a new full-time beer, wine and spirits license for North Star Cantina LLC (1574 Post Road) and, in a separate action, granted a special entertainment permit for the same business. No members of the public spoke on any of these items prior to the board votes.
All three licensing motions were moved, seconded and carried as routine business; the meeting record notes the votes as in favor by the board. No conditions or restrictions beyond standard licensing requirements were recorded during the discussion.
