The Seward County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved the fiscal year 2025 year‑end outcome report from Cimarron Basin Community Corrections on Aug. 4.
Kayla Jenkins, representing Cimarron Basin Community Corrections, presented the report and asked the commission to approve it so the agency could submit the outcomes to the Kansas Department of Corrections. “I’m asking for your approval for my FY25 outcome report so I can have that approved and send to DOC for our last year's outcomes and statuses of our programs and what we've accomplished in the year,” Jenkins said.
Commissioners responded in support. Commissioner Abbott moved to approve the FY25 year‑end outcome reports; Commissioner Fuller seconded the motion. The commission approved the report by show of hands.
The item was administrative: approval authorizes the corrections provider to file required documentation with the state; commissioners did not amend program content or funding during the meeting.
