Cooper City proclaims September 2025 as Hunger Action Month; Feeding South Florida recognized

Ruth Bonet of Feeding South Florida was not present to accept the proclamation; the commission said it would save the proclamation and deliver it to her. A city speaker noted local and national hunger trends in brief remarks, saying that “1 in 9 Americans are going to bed hungry,” and urged community support of the food bank’s programs and volunteer opportunities.
