The board’s approval required the applicant to use an off‑the‑shelf profiled rail cap and a plowed base rail so inch‑and‑a‑quarter square balusters would fit into the system. The board stated materials could be PVC, composite, or an exterior‑compatible wood product but explicitly discouraged using plain pine or exposed aluminum cladding. The applicant agreed to paint replacement face boards to match existing color after the pressure treatment dries.
A motion to approve the application with the board’s material and profile changes passed by voice vote during the meeting.
