The CUDA Council on Aug. 12 unanimously approved a set of administrative items including the 2026 budget calendar, multiple contract amendments for on-call professional services, an amendment to the comprehensive-plan periodic update agreement pending final scope, and the July payroll and accounts-payable payments.
The council approved the 2026 budget calendar with tentative council workshop dates of Sept. 22 and Oct. 20. A council member noted a typographical error on the agenda (it read “2025”); the calendar presented to the council was for 2026. The motion to approve the 2026 budget calendar passed unanimously.
Council members approved Amendment No. 2 to the comprehensive plan periodic update agreement (described in the packet as the FASET comprehensive plan periodic update agreement), “pending the scope of services,” and authorized a payment increase “not to exceed $10,000,” as read during the meeting. The council also approved amendments to on-call professional services agreements for engineering and survey services to increase not-to-exceed amounts. The council voted to increase one on-call engineering agreement’s not-to-exceed amount and separately to raise the Harmsen (survey) contract not-to-exceed amount from $25,000 to $35,000; the council later approved an amendment to extend the term of an on-call engineering professional agreement to Dec. 31, 2025 and to increase its not-to-exceed limit to $75,000.
The council approved July 2025 payroll electronic fund transfers totaling $128,046.64 and accounts-payable/EFT payments totaling $201,998.56, as read into the record.
All votes on the recorded motions were taken by voice and were recorded as unanimous “aye.” No recorded roll-call tallies were provided in the meeting transcript; the minutes or official vote record should be consulted for exact vote counts.
The motions and approvals were procedural and did not include substantive debate; council members noted workshop scheduling constraints and that dates remain subject to change pending library meeting-room availability and council schedules.
