Bensalem Township SD board approves amended personnel settlement and routine consent items

The Bensalem Township School District Board of School Directors approved an amended personnel settlement agreement and several routine consent-agenda items at a short meeting in which the board also disclosed it had met earlier in executive session to discuss personnel matters.
Board Chair, Bensalem Township School District, asked for a motion "to approve the amended settlement agreement per attached," which the board moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. The chair also moved approval of the consent agenda, which included a speaker agreement (F-1), an instructional affairs item (G-1) and personnel items (H-1 through H-6); that motion also passed by voice vote. The chair said, "I have no public comment cards," and closed public comment before the votes.
The district solicitor reported there was "nothing public to report" and the board later voted to approve the solicitor's report as presented. The board noted it had met in executive session prior to the meeting "in regards to personnel matters." The amended settlement agreement is recorded on the personnel agenda as "Item number 7"; no dollar amount or other settlement terms were stated on the record.
Board members also announced upcoming committee and board meeting dates, including the instructional affairs committee on Aug. 12, business, facilities and technology committee on Aug. 13, co-curricular committee on Aug. 18 (at Bensalem High School Internet Café), the policy committee on Aug. 19, a personnel committee/executive session on Aug. 20, and the regular action meeting on Aug. 26. The meeting was adjourned at 7:39 p.m.
