On Aug. 12 the Board of Education voted to approve personnel matters presented in exhibits D-1 through D-4, including retirements, resignations, leaves and recognition of deceased staff; the motion carried on a roll call vote.
Superintendent Dr. Rogers then presented administrative appointments for approval (exhibit E-1). The board approved appointments that included school-based and central-office positions. Appointments announced at the meeting included Christopher Bunn as assistant principal at Lansdowne High School; Alicia Cagnalotti as principal at Lyons Mill (Lines Mill) Elementary School (appointment had been approved July 22 and was noted again); Christine Karringer as assistant principal at Deep Creek Elementary School; Kristen Miles in the Office of Budget and Reporting; Anthony Schultz as principal at Halsted Academy; Morgan Sledge as assistant principal at Dogwood Elementary School; Malik Sollas as assistant principal at Cedarmere Elementary School; Joseph Ting as assistant principal at Catonsville Elementary School; Tracy Transparenti (specialist, comprehensive coordinated intervening services/student support); and Jamar Davis as ERP infrastructure engineer in the Office of Enterprise Solutions.
Board votes on both the personnel consent package and the administrative appointments were recorded on the roll call and the chair announced the motions carried. The board welcomed the appointees who were in attendance at the meeting.
