The Planning and Zoning Commission elected officers for the 2025–26 year during the Aug. 19 meeting. Audrey Wernicke was nominated and elected chair by a unanimous 7‑0 roll call. Kimberly Bradford Brown was elected vice chair and Brenda Reese was elected secretary, each by unanimous roll call votes.
The chair, vice chair and secretary each serve one‑year terms and may serve up to two consecutive terms in the same role under commission rules described during the meeting. The commission conducted nominations and sequential roll‑call votes for each office; each motion passed 7‑0.
