County counsel finds no Fair Labor Standards Act violation; court highlights jail staffing gains and reduced overtime

"The county has not and is not violating the Fair Labor Standards Act regarding the payment of meal breaks at the sheriff's office," Davis said, after describing his review of the documents provided to him and the federal authorities and cases he considered.
