The approved construction amount in the motion was $5,144,722 for the phase 2 added scope. County staff and JE Dunn representatives told the commission the construction estimate previously shown to the board was roughly $5.1 million and that the project team identified roughly $600,000 in cost reductions during recent value-engineering and pricing work.
