Staff said the council had approved the same change in June but missed the deadline to forward the adopted amendment to the state Department of Commerce for review. The council therefore re‑adopted the amendment on second reading to complete the transmittal process. No substantive changes were made to the amendment; the measure passed 5‑0.
Action: Ordinance 2025‑06 — approving the comprehensive plan amendment for the preserve — passed on second reading, 5‑0. Staff said the measure will be transmitted to state review per statutory deadlines.
