- Contract extension for environmental consulting at the former Mount Pleasant Landfill: The commission authorized a not-to-exceed contract extension with the Manock/Smith Group (Manock Smith Group noted in packet) for $41,525 to develop a conceptual site model and focused feasibility study; funding split roughly 50/50 with a Saginaw Chippewa grant and the general fund. (Motion moved and passed.)
- Police services agreement with the Village of Lake Isabella: The commission approved a contract to provide police services to the Village of Lake Isabella at a flat rate of $250 per hour; staff said t he agreement covers the city’s costs and a small overhead percentage and will include scheduling to ensure city coverage before village assignments. (Motion moved and passed.)
- Other consent items: Approvals included a Fishback contract for stream restoration professional services ($39,900), a resolution to continue the CDBG revolving loan fund application process for Reynolds Goldfine, and payrolls and warrants.
Each of the above was approved as presented in the agenda packet; items that require additional actions (for example, public hearings or contract execution) will return to staff for implementation.
