Members asked staff to gather the relevant agencies and contractors and to include the topic on a full meeting agenda if necessary.
Committee members emphasized that understanding who permits and enforces detours is a prerequisite to recommending changes and that an educational session could reveal implementable fixes without new ordinance changes.
