The Ken-Caryl Metropolitan District Board of Directors on Tuesday adopted two resolutions updating check-signing authority and appointing the finance director as a bank signer.
The board first adopted resolution D25-13 amending the district's 2024 fiscal policies to authorize district department directors to sign checks and payment vouchers in accordance with the policies. The board then adopted resolution MB25-104 authorizing Katrina Millet, district finance director, to act as an additional authorized signer and representative for the district's FirstBank checking account.
Both motions passed by unanimous roll-call tallies recorded in the meeting (5–0). No further substantive policy changes were discussed during the votes, which the board presented as administrative housekeeping to align signatory authority with current staff roles.
The changes permit the finance director to execute checks and payment vouchers as specified in the district's fiscal policies and to register as a bank signer with FirstBank. The board provided no additional direction beyond the authorizations recorded in the resolutions.
