Robbinsville board honors departing staff member, reviews facilities work and approves routine business

The Robbinsville Board of Education on a late‑August evening honored a departing staff member who will become a superintendent elsewhere, received updates on district facilities and safety work completed over the summer, and approved routine consent items including personnel recommendations and changes to fall meeting dates.

Board President (name not specified) opened the meeting with a brief report noting summer work across the district and thanking staff for preparations ahead of the school year. Superintendent Dr. Pizzo reported that Dr. Steven Wisniewski, a member of the district team, will begin as superintendent of Milltown Schools on Sept. 1 and was invited to speak.
