Tinsley said the highest number of intakes were for second-degree battery felonies (six) and that 13 of the intakes were from division 8 and four from division 3. The report listed 10 total transports, with seven performed by the Juvenile Detention Center and three by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
When asked about staffing, Tinsley said two positions remain open and expected to fill a female position by early- to mid-next month and a male overnight position (Thursday–Sunday, 9 p.m.–7 a.m.) by October.
