The Las Cruces Public Schools Board approved awarding RFP No. 25-26-02P to La Clinica de Familia to provide supplemental behavioral health services in school-based health centers.
Purchasing staff said the solicitation was posted July 18, 2025, on the district’s new BinNet vendor portal and closed July 29, 2025. Twenty-three vendors viewed the solicitation, three submitted proposals, and two were deemed compliant; the evaluation committee recommended La Clinica de Familia of Las Cruces.
District staff described the award as a joint effort with the City of Las Cruces that will fund expanded mental-health supports in high schools. Superintendent Ruiz said the partnership will allow the district to expand coverage in high schools from about two days per week to up to five days per week during the contract period.
The RFP award was included on the consent agenda and approved by the board in a unanimous roll-call vote moved by President Court and seconded by Board Member Frank.
