Board to consider multiple personnel actions and a negotiated nurses’ contract at next meeting
Summary

Administrators previewed numerous personnel items for the upcoming public meeting, including four resignations, several hires across teaching, special education and cafeteria staff, substitute lists, supplemental positions and tenure acknowledgements.
The board chair said the nurses’ bargaining team and the district negotiating team reached an agreement; the contract terms were provided to the board and will appear on the Tuesday agenda for ratification. Administrators also noted an LPN RFP award with a fallback plan: if the recommended vendor cannot staff positions by the start of school, the district may revert to the incumbent provider.
The superintendent said some hires were discussed in executive session and that the board might need an additional August public meeting to finalize hires that cannot be processed for the Tuesday vote.
