First and 10 Club donates alternate football jerseys; district to continue game streaming

He said the jerseys comply with District 9 rules after checking with the district’s head official and with Riddell, the manufacturer. Josh Greenblatt of the First and 10 Club arranged the donation, Gold said; the club will distribute and retrieve the jerseys from players so they do not become lost.
Student athletes who showed the jerseys told the board the themed uniforms raise student energy and community involvement. One student, Zayden, said the alternate uniforms are a memorable part of high school athletics.
Gold also raised streaming and said he had discussed continuing to livestream games with Mike McMann; the board affirmed the streaming will continue and that the cost is in the budget.
The board did not vote on the donation at the meeting; Gold said the district will request formal acceptance at the next public meeting.
