FARGO, N.D. — Fargo Police said Monday that two men were killed and two others were shot early Sunday in two related incidents about 30 minutes apart, and that investigators have identified a suspect in the Broadway homicide and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
Police identified the two people killed as Azim Holmes, 20, who died after shots were fired about 1:56 a.m. in the 50 block of Broadway, and Elijah Hughes, 21, who was found shot about 2:26 a.m. in the 4700 block of 16th Avenue South. "We wanna start by offering condolences to the family of Azim Holmes, a 20 year old Fargo resident ... and the family of Elijah Hughes, a 21 year old Fargo resident," Fargo Police Chief (name not specified) said at a news conference.
