Board approves consent agenda, bill list and personnel actions; disbursements total $4.98 million

The Haverford Township School District Board of School Directors approved a series of consent and action items during its Aug. 21 meeting, including meeting minutes, personnel appointments, pupil services, academics items, and a bill list disbursement totaling $4,977,592.54.

Items approved on the consent agenda included the official minutes from the Aug. 7 board work session; finance consent items labeled 6b through 6f; and human-resources items 7b through 7d. The board then approved pupil-services items 8b through 8g and academics items 9b through 9c, all following motions that were moved and seconded and recorded as passed in the action meeting.

The board voted to approve disbursements for payment totaling $4,977,592.54 (agenda item 6h). The motion passed after the chair called for the vote; the transcript records the motion and a group “Aye” but does not include a roll-call tally of individual votes.

The board also approved the 2025–26 superintendent’s professional learning plan as presented at the Aug. 7 work session; the agenda listed the plan as a minor date revision for conference scheduling and confirmed participation in the superintendent’s academy.
