The late‑file items included: a $10,000 allocation combining $6,000 from the county judge and $4,000 from Precinct 3 (Item 48a); a larger package of outside‑agency allocations totaling $3,037,500 from the county judge’s contributions (Item 49a); reallocations requested by Precinct 1 moving prior awards between named organizations and reallocating funds totaling $40,000 for precinct‑level programming (Item 50a); Precinct 2 allocations totaling $36,301 for named local organizations (Item 51a); and reapproval of Precinct 4 reallocations, moving previously awarded amounts among organizations and reallocating $45,200 to specified agencies (Item 52a). Each item was moved and seconded and the court voted to approve them on the late‑file agenda.
Commissioner Clay Flores clarified the reallocations were not cuts to organizations but administrative reassignments where grantees had not completed paperwork or had changed needs. The court instructed staff to process the awards and file appropriate records.
