Dr. Utilor, a school official, said the culinary program has been in place for many years and that the CTE building is essentially complete but waiting for equipment. “The building is sitting there waiting for the equipment to be ordered and to be installed,” Dr. Utilor said. School staff said they are ready to requisition equipment and hope there will be no delays, but cautioned that equipment orders sometimes face supply or shipping delays.
The item was forwarded to the commission workshop for final action so purchase orders can be issued.
