Salinas PCAC elects Leo De La Rosa chair, Leah Miller vice chair

The committee then considered vice chair nominations. Committee member Yolanda Hayes moved to appoint Leah Miller as vice chair; Camacho seconded. A roll-call vote recorded unanimous support among members present and the motion passed.
The committee also approved minutes from its Aug. 28, 2024 meeting. Committee member Hayes moved approval and Miller seconded. Two members abstained because they were absent from the referenced meeting; the remainder voted to approve and the minutes passed.
