Lakeville assessors approve June minutes, sign reports and enter executive session

The Town of Lakeville Board of Assessors opened its Aug. 14 meeting with routine business, approving minutes from its June 12 meeting and signing reports and commitments before moving into executive session.
A motion to approve the June 12 minutes was made, seconded and carried by voice vote: “Any further discussion? All in favor? Aye. Motion carries.” Staff reported the board had invoices, mileage reimbursement for the principal assessor and motor-vehicle statutory exemptions and supplemental real-estate tax commitments to sign; staff said they were completing the real-estate reports for July 2025.
Near the meeting’s end the board voted to enter executive session to consider a late ABC application for fiscal year 2024. One board member moved and another seconded a motion “to go into executive session, not to return to open session.” The board then recorded a roll-call aye vote: “All in favor aye. LaBlanc, aye. Lamoreaux, aye.” The meeting closed its public session thereafter.
