UN spokesperson Farhan, speaking at a briefing at UN headquarters, quoted the secretary-general as saying, “Gaza is on the brink of famine. The facts are in and they are undeniable.” Farhan said the UN had invited World Food Programme officials to brief on the IPC findings after the briefing.
