Butler County ESC superintendent introduces successor, thanks Hamilton City for partnership

Chris Brown, superintendent of the Butler County Educational Service Center (BCESC), introduced Jeff Brant as his successor and thanked Hamilton City Schools for their ongoing partnership during the Oct. 9 Hamilton City Board of Education meeting.
Brown said he has been BCESC superintendent for 10 years and described the relationship between the ESC and Hamilton City as a long-standing partnership that supports multiple programs in the district. "It's been a great partnership for a long, long time," Brown said.
Jeff Brant said he will transition into the BCESC superintendent role in January and described his 30-year career in K–12 public education, including administrative and superintendent experience. "I'm really looking forward to working with you guys as we move forward," Brant said.
Board members welcomed Brant and thanked Brown for his service. The remarks were introductory; the board took no formal action on the personnel change at that meeting.
