During the Sept. 17 Tooele City Council meeting the council approved four invoices and purchase orders and accepted the minutes from the Sept. 3 business meeting as consent items.
City representative Shiloh Baker presented four invoices: a pass-through purchase of signal parts from the Utah Department of Transportation for the 2400 North/SR-36 signal ($304,296.34); Russell Welding Corp. for a solar house rail extension at the wastewater treatment plant ($34,884.55); Axon Enterprises for new tasers and related equipment for the police department ($124,954.43); and Turf Equipment & Irrigation for a Ventrac tractor (mini tractor with aerator/trencher/stump grinder) for the golf course ($60,305.00). Councilman McCall moved and Councilman Hansen seconded approval of the invoices; the council voted aye (Councilman McCall, Councilman Hansen, Councilwoman Gochis, Councilwoman Manzione and Councilman Brady) and the motion passed 5–0.
Later the council considered the minutes from the Sept. 3, 2025 business meeting. Councilwoman Manzione moved to approve the minutes; Councilman McCall seconded. The council voted aye and approved the minutes 5–0.
