City Law Director Gruber told council that the annual renewals of liquor permits in Shaker Heights had been reviewed by city departments (building, housing, economic development, fire, planning, police and law) and that there were no departmental objections. Because council had no objections, no action was necessary.
Gruber also advised council of a specific new liquor permit application for Chick and Batter LLC on Chagrin Boulevard (in the row of restaurants near Wendy’s). Departments had reviewed that application and reported no objections; council recorded no objection and no action was taken.
Law director Gruber said the lists of current liquor permits are available on the state website and in the meeting materials for public inspection.
