Kuna City Council approved a combination plat (case 2501CPF) to subdivide Lot 1 of the Paul Bunyan Plaza subdivision, a 0.96-acre site zoned C-2 (area commercial), into two lots. The west lot will accommodate a Mo Betas fast-food restaurant; the east lot is planned for a Take 5 oil-change facility. Both projects have already received design-review approval, staff said.
Planner Marina Lundy told the council staff had reviewed the proposed plat for compliance with Kuna City Code, Idaho statutes and the Kuna comprehensive plan and recommended approval subject to conditions in the staff report. Applicant representative Jeff Likes told the council the team had worked with staff on exit/egress issues and stood ready to answer questions.
No members of the public signed up to testify. The council closed the public hearing, moved to deliberation and approved the combination plat with the staff recommendations by voice vote.
