Commission clarifies phasing and ADA access for Kirkpatrick Gallatin Phase II plan

Developer representative Keegan McCormick said the applicant is splitting an originally planned three-phase project into four phases and confirmed that Phase II includes roughly the proposed lot count. McCormick raised an accessibility concern about the greenway: he described a steep grade at the northeast corner near a cul-de-sac and asked how the applicant should achieve ADA compliance. He said the slope is “like a 3 to 1, 4 to 1 slope” and that the team was considering handrails and other options.
Atley and commission members asked the applicant to study and propose ADA-compliant solutions for that greenway segment. Commissioners otherwise characterized the filing as consistent with the approved preliminary plan and raised no substantive objections in the transcript.
