Separately, the commission was advised of a Republic fee discrepancy: staff said Republic underpaid top-line fees for two months and that the outstanding amount was about $3,900; Republic’s representative said he would deliver the payment next week and expected to be caught up by November.
Other administrative notes: the commission received a report about a paving project to address mud and sediment on the access road; staff said paving work from the scales to the wheel wash will start in November and will include catch basins and heavy-duty installations intended to reduce sediment transport into county roads.
