At its Aug. 19 meeting, the Saint Helena Planning Commission received department reports and discussed upcoming zoning ordinance amendments, regional planning coordination and workforce housing concerns.
Planning staff informed the commission that the Sept. 2 meeting will include a formal zoning amendment for the “vision triangles” item (policy directions were discussed in May). The Sept. 16 meeting was canceled to accommodate a city manager study session; an Oct. 7 meeting was expected to include a zoning amendment for covered porches and potentially development project permits. Staff said they are still finalizing dates and materials.
