On procurement and contracts, the council accepted a 2025-26 propane quote from AmeriGas for up to 30,000 gallons at a quoted price of $1.348 per gallon (with a one-time fill transport load price of $1.047 per gallon) for delivery to various city locations from Sept. 1, 2025, through May 1, 2026. The motion specified a single fill of the city maintenance shop's 12,000-gallon tank at the transport-load price. The council approved that procurement by voice vote.
The council approved contract 2025-8 with the Fall River Swim Team, permitting use of Evans Plunge Mineral Springs from September 2025 through March 2026 for youth swim activities.
The council acknowledged notification of a raffle from the Fall River Dance Alliance (ticket sales Sept. 15'Dec. 10, 2025; drawing Dec. 12, 2025) and approved a travel and training request for Finance Officer Misty Summers Walton to attend the South Dakota Municipal League annual conference in Pierre, South Dakota, Sept. 30'Oct. 3.
Most motions passed by voice vote with the mayor or chair asking "All in favor? Aye," followed by "Opposed?" and the chair stating the motion passed. The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn.
