Olathe council reappoints two members to Citizens Police Advisory Council

The Olathe City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to reappoint two members to the Citizens Police Advisory Council.
Kyle Neal, chair of the Citizens Police Advisory Council, introduced the reappointments and said the council’s mission is “to improve the understanding and communication between the police and Olathe community.” Neal identified the two members reappointed as Eric Arazzo and Cameron Kadir.
The council approved Resolution 25-1071 on a 7-0 roll call. Mayor Bacon thanked the advisory council for its volunteer work and noted the council meets at 7 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month at the Olathe Police Department.
The advisory council serves in an advisory capacity to the city council, city manager and police chief; the reappointments carry no immediate policy changes but preserve continuity on the panel.
