The Douglas County SD 4 Board of Education on Monday approved its consent agenda, voted to designate supervisory and confidential employees required by collective bargaining law, and adopted the board committee assignment roster for the 2025–26 school year.
The consent agenda included surplus listings, gifts to the district, recommendations for hire and notices of resignation and retirement. Board Chair Minor called for a motion; a board member moved and a second was recorded. Chair Minor announced the motion “carried unanimously.”
Assistant Superintendent Michelle Nee presented the supervisory and confidential employee designations required by collective bargaining law, saying the designations are for “any individual having authority in the interest of the employer” and listing specific roles in the packet. The board moved and seconded the item and Chair Minor announced it passed unanimously.
The board then approved the committee assignment roster for the 2025–26 school year by motion and second; Chair Minor announced the motion carried.
All three votes were recorded by voice with Chair Minor noting each motion passed without opposition. No roll-call vote with individual member names and votes was recorded on the transcript.
The meeting proceeded with the superintendent’s report and other agenda items after the approvals.
