Commissioners said because the proclamation was not on the posted agenda they could not vote at that meeting and would consider it at their next meeting. Macintosh invited commissioners and residents to a candlelight vigil on Sept. 10 at Price Peace Gardens and a Southeast Utah Hope Walk on Sept. 13.
No formal action occurred that night; the proclamation will be placed on the next meeting agenda for a vote.
