PSC approves Entergy Mississippi ad valorem tax adjustment; typical 1,000 kWh bill falls 29¢

The staff presentation said the decrease is primarily driven by an over-recovery from the prior period that more than offsets the current-period ad valorem tax increase, together with higher projected sales in the upcoming rate period. Staff verified the filing’s compliance with the schedule ATA 3 rider and recommended approval.
A motion to approve the proposed order was seconded and approved by voice vote. The commission did not record a roll-call tally during the meeting.
