Board hears capital-project progress; district says phase work largely complete and $4.2 million under budget pending bids

Project presenters said three of the four buildings in phase 1 (Dayton, South Street and Eastport elementary schools) are closed out, the junior/senior high work is nearly complete, and phase 2—an addition and multiple alterations at the high school plus elementary renovations—remains active.
