At the Sept. 16 Pleasant Grove work session, council members asked about the Discovery Park courts project and were told the city has contacted the contractor to address substandard work and that the project remains under warranty.
A council member asked whether the city had given the contractor a date to respond; staff said the contractor has requested a meeting and the city is arranging to meet on site. The city engineer (Horox) has sent the contractor notice to respond; staff said the city is awaiting the meeting to review the work on the court in place.
The work session contained no vote or new contract action; staff said the matter is in warranty response and that the city will perform an on-site review with the contractor soon.
