Central Valley SD agenda lists handbook revisions, Title I policies, service contracts and multiple personnel items for approval

At its Aug. 13 work session, the Central Valley School District board listed a series of consent-agenda items for consideration, ranging from student-handbook revisions and Title I parent-involvement policies to service agreements and numerous personnel hires, resignations and leave requests.

Board materials presented the items as requests for approval at a future vote or as consent-agenda items to be approved as a group. The transcript records the agenda items as presented; the meeting did not record an individual vote on each listed item.

Under the education items, the agenda called for approval of 2025–26 handbook revisions for elementary, middle and high schools; adoption of districtwide and individual-school Title I parent-involvement policies (Center Grange Primary and Todd Lane Elementary); adoption of Title I school parent compacts; and approval of a targeted support and improvement (TSI) plan for the high school.
