The action came after commissioners Josh Maxwell, Marion Moskowitz and Eric Rowe heard a second-quarter budget status report showing General Fund revenues of about $164 million — 79% of budget — and 154 vacancies among 1,453.57 approved general fund positions. The board also approved a slate of contracts and grants across county departments.
