Chester County commissioners approve consent agenda, multiple contracts and grants; budget status reported

The Chester County Board of Commissioners on Aug. 13 unanimously adopted the day’s agenda and approved a consent agenda that included minutes, interagency agreements, contracts, budget changes and vouchers, the board said at its meeting in West Chester.

The action came after commissioners Josh Maxwell, Marion Moskowitz and Eric Rowe heard a second-quarter budget status report showing General Fund revenues of about $164 million — 79% of budget — and 154 vacancies among 1,453.57 approved general fund positions. The board also approved a slate of contracts and grants across county departments.
