The Torrington Planning and Zoning Commission on Aug. 20 set a public hearing for Sept. 10 for Subdivision Sub‑25‑1, an application by William Clark to resubdivide a vacant parcel at 660 Torrinford Street into two building lots.
The commission chair asked for a motion to set the public hearing; a commissioner moved to set the hearing for Sept. 10 and a second was recorded. The motion passed by voice vote. The Sept. 10 date will be the commission's only meeting in September, replacing the regularly scheduled Sept. 17 meeting, and will be posted as a special meeting so the agenda cannot be amended after posting, the chair said.
No substantive discussion of the subdivision application occurred at the Aug. 20 meeting beyond scheduling the public hearing; applicants and the public will have the opportunity to present materials and testimony at the Sept. 10 hearing.
