Residents ask Selectboard to revive Brookfield agricultural commission

Two residents appeared during public input to request that the Selectboard revive Brookfield’s agricultural commission.
"We have a big interest and we'd like to resurrect it and get it going again," said Phil Emilio, a public commenter. The board discussed typical commission sizes; one speaker noted historical language that allows 3 to 7 members and the residents said they expected a quorum of five or six volunteers.
