Council approves change orders totaling $100,032.50 for WW060 wastewater improvement project

The Lewiston City Council on Aug. 11 approved two change orders for the WW060 Wastewater Improvement Project and authorized the mayor to sign the documents.
The motion approved change order No. 3 in the amount of $63,832.50 and change order No. 4 in the amount of $36,200 with Titan Technologies Inc. The motion was moved and seconded and carried by voice vote.
City Engineer Luke Antonich was present for council questions. No substantive discussion altering the amounts recorded in the staff packet was reported during the meeting.
The council authorized the mayor to sign the change orders, which become part of the contract administration for the WW060 project. The action allows the contractor to proceed with the scope reflected in the change orders and permits the city to pay the additional amounts as amended.
