The stated purposes for the closed session were: to consider the purchase, acquisition, lease, transfer, or sale of real, personal, or other property and to determine positions and develop negotiation strategy pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes 24-6-402(4)(a) and (4)(e); and to hold a conference with the county attorney to receive legal advice on specific legal questions pertaining to the potential purchase of real property pursuant to CRS 24-6-402(4)(b).
Present for the executive session were County Attorney Chris Floyd, County Manager Candace Bryant, County Commissioner Matt Bullock, County Commissioner Andrew Lee and County Commissioner Elsa Tharpe. The board later moved to end the executive session and, for the record, announced that no official decisions were made during the closed session. The special meeting then concluded.
