Commission reappoints Amy Manning to Marquette County Solid Waste Management Authority

The motion to reappoint Manning was made by Commissioner Ottaway and seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Rotem Schlegel. The commission approved the appointment 6 to 0.
During the brief discussion before the vote, commissioners praised Manning’s work with the Solid Waste Management Authority. Ottaway said Manning had done “an amazing job” in the role, and Schlegel added support for her continued service.
The reappointment was taken as part of the boards and committees section of the agenda and required no separate fiscal action as presented to the commission.
