Council approves series of ordinances on first reading; most measures pass 6-0

Councilors also moved and approved a motion to amend Ordinance 1 67 25 (previously considered at the July 14 meeting) to replace Exhibit A with a new Exhibit A; that amendment passed by voice vote. Separately, council authorized the absence and salary for Councilor Glenn and President Dixon; that motion passed by voice vote.
All roll calls recorded the six council members present (Councilors Nipper, Gordon, Wilkerson, Thompson, Jordan and Jones) voting "yes" on the ordinances listed above. No recorded "no" votes, abstentions or recusals were announced on those items during the meeting.
